Several custom pieces were designed and built for this Fifth Avenue penthouse apartment.  For this project we worked in partnership with Dale Eramo.  Featured in this project are HUXHUX Design's Big Brass and Teak Plank Unit  pieces, as well as custom acrylic vitrines and glasswork.

Tectonic Fields expresses an organic potential using rigid geometries.  An almost floral pattern emerges from bursts of interconnected random simple geometries.   These ceramic wall tiles are screen printed by hand, making each tile unique and subtly different.

This year HUXHUX Design partnered with Ammor Architecture LLP and Bobby Berk Home to design and make a booth for Dining By Design 2013.  Hosted at the Architectural Digest Home Show in NYC, this event invites select designers to create dining environments for their annual gala dinner.  

We worked collaboratively to approach this project from a professional practice standpoint so that we use this gala event as a launchpad for us to give further to the DIFFA charitable organization.   Rather than create a project that gets thrown away after the 4 day event, we teamed up with Bobby Berk Home and designed our entry as grouping of special product lines that will be sold through this retailer for the following three months.  All proceeds from these sales will go directly back to DIFFA, thereby allowing us as designers to have a lasting and more substantial impact for this charitable cause.  

This year our project is called Ours Mine &#38; Yours.  Not only does this help to conceptually organize our collaborative platform, but we also feel it aligns with the ways in which all of our lives connect and relate to this charitable organization. Tectonic Fields explores the organic potential of rigid geometries.  An almost floral pattern emerges from bursts of interconnected random simple shapes.   These ceramic tile coasters are screen printed by hand, making each tile unique and subtly different.
