Justin Huxol, founder of HUXHUX Design Inc, received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. He has worked professionally for Rem Koolhaas at OMA Rotterdam, REX, Bill Price, MOS-Office, Preston Scott Cohen, and William Rawn Associates in Boston. Before his architectural education, he worked as a Research & Publications Coordinator at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government & a researcher at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Environmental Studies.
In 2013 he received a Best of Year Award Honoree from Interior Design Magazine. His design work was named by Inc Magazine as one of the top ten of the World's Coolest Offices for 2015. HUXHUX Design was named one of the best retail designers of 2020 by Fast Company Magazine for their design of the brand, Studs. In 2021, he was awarded the International Interior Design Association Calibre Award for excellence in commercial design. Justin taught Interior Design studios for five years at Parsons New School for Design.
